• Discuss the relationship between operations, productivity and competitiveness in relation of operations management

• Describe the purpose of the cash flow, profit & loss and the balance sheet statement
• Calculate the key ratios used in accounting
• Discuss the process for recording stock and depreciating stock
• Describe key characteristics of successful entrepreneurs
• Identify key types of communication useful in starting an enterprise

TRAINING METHODOLOGY

The training methodology combines lectures, discussions, group exercises and illustrations. Participants will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge of the topics. The emphasis is on the practical application of the topics and as a result participant will go back to the workplace with both the ability and the confidence to apply the techniques learned to their duties.
