Upon successful completion of this course, the participants will be able to:

• Apply legal agreements to determine validity of contracts commonly found in the hospitality and tourism industry.
• Differentiate practical business decisions for the physical security of hospitality and tourism buildings, contents, and property.
• Calculate insurance liabilities for various situations relevant to the hospitality and tourism industry.
• Prepare and defend positions with ethical implications commonly found in the hospitality and tourism industry.

TRAINING METHODOLOGY

The training methodology combines lectures, discussions, group exercises and illustrations. Participants will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge of the topics. The emphasis is on the practical application of the topics and as a result participant will go back to the workplace with both the ability and the confidence to apply the techniques learned to their duties.
