Corporate Driver’s Improvement Course for Effectiveness

The Professional Driver Improvement Course is designed to expand on the techniques and concepts of defensive driving and understand how to improve and maintain your driving IMAGE through a positive driving attitude.

• Description and evaluation of your IMAGE
• Review of defensive driving techniques
• Driver attitude and emotions
• Vehicle care, inspection, and maintenance
• Advanced driving techniques such as managing idling time, clutching, and progressive shifting
• Proper intersection safety
• Navigating the road with other drivers
• What to do in a collision

TRAINING METHODOLOGY

The training methodology combines lectures, discussions, group exercises and illustrations. Participants will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge of the topics. The emphasis is on the practical application of the topics and as a result participant will go back to the workplace with both the ability and the confidence to apply the techniques learned to their duties.
